Tommy's New Motorcycle

We bought Tommy a big wheel, or as he calls it a motorcycle, after he became infatuated with his friend Jamie's. The poor kid had to wait all morning for Tom to wake up before we could go. He kept signing motorcycle and trying to get out the front door. When we finally got it, he helped Tom put the whole thing together. It is a really cool bike. There is a panel on the front with all buttons that make different noises from a motorcycle starting up to a radio playing. His feet hit the pedals which is good but he still hasn't quite figured out the pedaling action. I'm sure it won't take too long for him to catch hold of it.

The New Water Table

With some of the money that Jack got for his birthday, we decided to get a water / sand table for the boys. It has been awesome, especially last week when it was so hot! There is even a nice umbrella that came with it. You are supposed to put sand in one half and water in the other but Tom and I decided to just do water for this year as Jack is still to little to understand that we don't eat sand. We'll try the sand next year and see what happens.

Happy Birthday Jack!!!

Jack turned 1 today!!
I can't believe Jack is 1 already. This past year has just flown by. We did a little party for him on Sunday with the Falk side of the family and he had fun. He got a little scared when we did his cupcake which really surprised me. I don't think he understood why everyone was watching him eat. He received some wonderful gifts that he (and Tommy!) hasn't stopped playing with. Tonight (his actual birthday) we did the cupcake and candle thing again with just me, Tom and Tommy. Jack enjoyed it this time around and got good and green. Sorry that there are a lot of pictures but there were so many to choose from!

Playing Outside

With all of the nice weather we have been at the park a lot lately. We FINALLY remembered the camera to take a couple of shots of the boys. These two boys live to be outside!!

The second video is of Jack playing with cars. He definitely takes after Tommy and has picked up the art of making car noises.
