The John Deere Store

Probably the highlight of Tommy and Jack's trip to Maryland was the John Deere store that my dad took them to. I wasn't there, but I can only imagine the size of Tommy's eyes as he walked in. I was told it took him awhile to warm up to sitting in the tractors, but by the time they left, he was jumping into the big ones. Thank you Grandpa!!!

What An Awesome Weekend!!!

Well, all the festivities have ended and Greg and Renee are currently relaxing on some beach in Aruba... but what a weekend. I think there is a consensus among the guests that the wedding was one of the best parties we have attended. Everything went off without a hitch and fun (and dancing) was had by all. Congratulations to Greg and Renee - we wish you all the best as you begin your married life together!!!

Some pictures from Tommy's School Party

This is the daily "My Day" e-mail I got from Tommy's teacher yesterday:

Happy Halloween
!!!
Today in preschool
We started our day by decorating our table (covered with orange paper) with Halloween stamps! We then used the stamped table as our table cloth for our party!!
At circle we looked at everyones Halloween costumes and we talked all about our day!!
We then went out with the other ps classes as well as K classes and marched to some of the classrooms and the office since we will not be here in the PM for the parade! It was fun to see all of the other costumes!!!
When we came back it was time to PARTY!!!!
We started with pin the nose on the pumpkin! We let each child have a turn just putting the nose on the pumpkin and then we blindfolded the children spun them around once or twice and had them try to put the nose on the pumkin! This was lots of fun!!!
After pin the nose on the pumpkin we ate snack! Gabriel's Mom brought in special Halloween cookies and Marco's Mom made us special cupcakes that were VERY yummy!! We also had doritos and pretzels!! There were no healthy foods in today's snack!! Actually we did try to serve banana's!!!
Miss Carey read us The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything!
We then made our Haunted Houses! Gabriel's Mom got us really cool foam stickers and had us decorate a Haunted House! This was lots of fun!
Our day was ended with Miss Sue's scary story and 5 Little Pumpkins sitting on a Gate!
Hope you all have a fun, safe Halloween!!!
The kids looked GREAT in their costumes!!
Thank you again to Michelle and Brenda for planning a great Halloween party!
