When Tom and I were in Florida, we bought the boys these big lollipops. We gave them to the boys today and were they funny! Tom (big Tom) dropped Jack's (which had started out as Tommy's but Tommy traded part way through - after he ate some of course - because Jack's looked bigger) and it broke up. I really didn't mind because I didn't want Jack eating that whole lollipop anyway . Tommy on the other hand ate his over a course of a couple of hours. They were really cute. See if you can spot Jack hiding in one of these pictures - a true "Where's Jack?"
We are back from Florida and finally settled back into everyday life. We had a wonderful trip even though it rained for a good portion of the 5 days we were there. Gramma & Pop took Jack and Tommy (and it sounds like they had a blast!) so Tom and I were able to do a little sightseeing by ourselves - what a difference!!.
By far, the highlight of our trip was watching Gio go through his Jedi Training in Hollywood Studios so that is what all the following pictures are of (sorry to all you non-Star Wars people). He was chosen (first) to be one of 10 - 12 kids to go through an interactive training session with a Jedi Master. Gio was over the moon because he is a huge Star Wars fan. It was really cute - they gave him a brown robe and a "training" light saber. He even got to fight with Darth Vader! His face was priceless throughout the whole thing and we are so glad that we were able to be there with him.
Don't ask me where it came from... I really have no idea, but Tommy has been on this kick of talking about blue cake. He uses it in his imaginary play - gives his planes a treat of blue cake or makes it with his kitchen set. Mare and I thought it would be fun to actually make him a blue cake...
Jack has been doing very well sleeping in a bed. There were some nights that he ended up on the floor but it hasn't happened too often lately. The trend last week was for Jack to get into Tommy's bed with him. It was so cute. Greg was able to get a shot of them...
