Norz Hill Farm

On Saturday, we had a nice family trip to Norz Hill Farm to go pumpkin picking. Norz Hill Farm is a working dairy farm around the corner from our house in Hillsborough. They do a "Fall festival" every year where you can go pumpkin picking, take a farm tour, go through corn mazes, pony rides, and much more. This year we did the farm tour and the pumpkin picking with the boys. We took a tractor ride out to the farm where they had chickens, goats, pig, cows, horses, mules, ducks, zonkey (half donkey, half zebra), sheep, emu, and calfs. The boys had a blast petting the animals. We then caught the next tractor to the huge pumpkin patch where you can pick pumpkins and gourds (over 50 varities) right from the vine. Over all, it was a fun day for both Tom and me with our boys.
